DR Wendy

Dr. Wendy Womack-Stanley moved to Moorpark in 1979 and is a lifetime Ventura County resident.  Dr. Wendy graduated from Moorpark High School in 1986.  She had played varsity volleyball, soccer and softball all four years.

She made the all-league and all-CIF teams in soccer and was inducted into the Ventura County Hall of Fame in 1986.  While attending Moorpark College and playing for the Women’s Softball Team Dr. Wendy had a severe, career ending softball injury.

She sought chiropractic treatment from Dr. Stanley Sr. of Moorpark Chiropractic.  The caring and healing that occurred during that time was the spark that led to her pursuit of a career in healthcare.

Dr. Wendy was intrigued and fascinated by the non-invasive, no drug or surgery form of healthcare and was absolutely amazed by the power of human touch!  After graduating from Moorpark College she transferred to Fresno State while continuing to work on her bachelor’s degree.

She then transferred to Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1993.  She has been practicing in Moorpark ever since.

Dr. Wendy’s approach to your care will be full spine,  as often times the first signs of “pain” isn’t where the problem began, but are in direct relationship to another area of the spine.

Dr Wendy

Now has two wonderful children that are involved in soccer, volleyball, and baseball.  She has been involved in coaching soccer through AYSO and now with MSC (Moorpark Soccer Club).  Dr. Wendy enjoys playing, watching, and coaching her kids in many sports

She also enjoys staying active and encourages her patients to strive for that balance in their lives.
Balance being a key element to health, she encourages every patient to find their individual balance.  Finding balance in her career, personnel, and family life is very important and a constant challenge for Dr. Wendy.
She finds that balance for herself by staying active herself with mountainbiking, waterskiing, hiking, jogging, weight lifting, reading, meditating, and playing volleyball.
